Liturgical Ministers
Our Liturgical Ministries offer opportunities to respond to God’s call to you in the Gospel by supporting the Celebration of the Mass by serving as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Readers. Ministers are needed to support the Liturgies of the Word and Eucharist across all weekend Masses. Extraordinary things happen when ordinary people do a little extra. Please contact the Parish Office to volunteer! Call us at
(203) 324-3434 or email parishoffice@smcglenbrook.org.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry was formed as a result of our love of knitting, crocheting, and compassion for others. Through our craft, we serve our newly baptized children, and parishioners in need of grace, prayer, and blessings. Please consider joining this wonderful ministry! We meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM; our next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. These special gifts can also be created from your home. If you or someone you know is in need of a prayer shawl, or if you have a contribution to make to the ministry, please contact the Parish Office.

Soup Kitchen Ministry
Saint Maurice Church volunteers prepare a hot lunch on the first Saturday of every month for needy people at the New Covenant Center in Stamford. The meals are cooked at home and delivered to the Center where at least 2 volunteers help with serving. Home cooks are scheduled to cook 3-4 times per year; on-site servers must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by a parent. We are always happy to welcome more volunteers to this ministry! If you are interested, please contact Mary and Tony Lamonte at lamonte@optonline.net.
